16 oz can from Tabor. Deep golden color some orange tones, initial fluffy head Fades to a small creamy cap. Aroma is citrus, caramel, piney, dank. Taste features a nice caramelly malt base and some tangy hops, earthy, pine, floral, musty. Well balanced. Nice feel.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 07/24/20. Bought it on Tavour.

Pours a hazy light yellow, small head. Smell is super bright pineapple and mango.

Taste is unripe mango, citrus pith, unspecified sweetness, actually really resinous and bitter.

Mouthfeel is fairly light and dry, but a bit filmy. Overall, good beer.

L: A translucent orange, reminiscent of all double west coast IPA's I've ever encountered. Two to three finger soapy-looking head with good lacing and retention.

S: This is a one or two note brew but the balance is such that it's difficult to distinguish the smells and tastes, they are only slightly muted. Smells good though. Best I can do is earthy papaya , lime, and lemongrass. Slight notes of hay and grass, sweet malts, and herbal qualities.

T: Follows the nose with additional "hello" of red peppercorns.

F: Medium-high carbonation which is wonderful in this brew. Most west coast doubles are cloyingly syrupy and medicinal. This is so well balanced in taste and mouthfeel.... I'm in love.

O: I don't think I've had a rating spread quite like this one. I would almost expect Kreik yeasts with the lime aspects of the smell and taste. This is truly original and a beer to try. Try it. Buy at least two!
