Bought this can from CraftShack. (Beware the shipping, but a unique selection for Chicagoans.)
O'Really is a good Irish Stout... but I'm not sure what changes make it into a very good Irish Stout.
O'Really Looks average, just opaque with a fast-fading foam. Smells are muted, instead of the usual roasty/toasty. Tastes are balanced, but does not finish dry enough to compete well in its style. Bubbly enough. Refreshing in a different way for a rainy cold April day. (Suitable for Ireland!)
As for Brewyard's micro-review.... Totally cool. LA is so expansive that it is hard to grasp its individual stories. And Brewyard's story is worth a visit to their website. Started 7 years ago to brew the California Common, they couldn't contain their enthusiasm and brew almost everything. Next from them, I will try their Belgians.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
