473ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase.
Appearance - Hazy fleshy orange colored brew with multiple fingers of sparkling off white head.
Smell - Grapefruit and a slight bit of lemon and some sweetness.
Taste - Plenty of grapefruit, middling bitterness and a bit of juicy fleshy grapefruit as well.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with modest carbonation. Easy to drink.
Overall - Pretty good for a one note beer, would happily enjoy again but probably won't go out of my way to pick it up again.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded L24074 and served slightly chilled.
Pours hazy and translucent, its pale apricot-hued body topped with half a finger of loose, soapy white suds that collapses within sixty seconds. A thin collar is left surrounding a few filmy wisps on the surface, with minimal lace production - looks pretty mediocre, but looks can be deceiving. I do get grapefruit on the nose, but it's far from overpowering; I'm also getting hints of lemon, lime, and something tropical, perhaps passion fruit.
It tastes alright - the flavour profile is citrusy, as you'd expect, but there's not a lot going on beyond that. Grapefruit peel, grainy pale malts and hints of melon rind at the forefront, with more of a bitter-grapefruit note on the back end that feels like it's going somewhere, but sorta just weakens/fades from there. Finishes with weak grapefruit juiciness, followed by a pithy aftertaste. Medium in body, with pointed carbonation that adds a strong spritz to this brew's smooth, somewhat juicy mouthfeel. The low abv makes for a drinkable & refreshing pale ale well-suited to the hot summer months.
Final Grade: 3.7, a passable B grade. I like grapefruit, and I typically enjoy grapefruit IPAs, but Lost Craft's take on this popular combo comes off as rather uninspired. That's not to say I hated this beer - on the contrary, it's fine for what it is: a Citra pale ale with grapefruit. The problem comes with what it *isn't* - it's not juicy, or very bitter, and it's not at all complex. Simply put, it left me wanting more of... anything, really. Lost Craft isn't really known for their pale ales, but they have done better than this - e.g. I'd recommend their Coastal Wave over this one, but if you're looking for a lighter, citrusy IPA with session potential then this might be right up your alley.
