this is my go-to 12 pack locally here in Cincy. No point in writing eloquently about all the blather with this kind of choice.
It is simply a good tasting beer brewed locally at a great price . I keep some handy most of the time . Beats a PBR in my opinion which along with Milwaukee's ICE I used to purchase as affordable beer. Burger gets it done .
Otherwise I buy strong NE IPA's . Its usually one or the other - the over-priced wimpy IPA's make me appreciate my Burger that much more ….

Bürger Classic brewed by Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co., With an ABV of 4.70% This American Lager pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color is a nice golden amber color with a small white head. There is some spotty lacing to this brew, it does stick to the side of the glass. The smell is rich with grains and malts mixed with light mirror hops. Has the look an smell of most American brews on the market. Now for the taste,it is Rich flavors. Lot of grains an malts. Nothing to write home about, easy drinking. Kinda funky aftertaste, but it grows on you. The body of Bürger Classic is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew would go nice on a summer day or with lunch. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth, and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Bürger Classic a solid 3 out of 5. Not the best, but not the worst brew I have had. I would look this brew up again if I wanted something different to drink. Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co., Did an ok job with brew.

This is another one of the "backup beers" I had ready to go in the hotel room in case the situation at my buddy's wedding called for it. The main consideration here was price. Six bucks a twelve pack always seems pretty good.
Nice golden color and almost no head. Plain, clean biscuit note with mild noble hops fighting a rearguard action. Not much unique here, but easy to pound in quantity, which was the entire idea.

Close to the brewery , so it's fresh
Here in ohio it's about $5 a 12 pack
And if it's fresh it's amazing . But old . It's kinda gross (but not for $5)

Thanks to Tom P. for the beer. Quoted price of $12.47 per case, so my expectations couldn't be much lower. Pours clear and with a rich golden color, a bit darker than typical macros (style for comparison's sake). Minimal head formation and lacing. Aroma is slightly malty and fruity. Taste is similar with a sour apple flavor (acetaldehyde). Reminds me of some malt liquors, albeit with much less abv. Mouthfeel is thin, and there's no way this is all malt. Finish is on the dry side.

Poured from 12 oz. can to pint glass
A: Golden, highly carbonated, with a 1 in. white head that diminishes into a layer of foam.
S: Sweet pale malt, yeast.
T: Crisp. Nice flavor up front with some light malts, yeastyness, and a watery finish. Little hop flavor. Slight apple taste.
M: Nice and light. Thirst-quenching.
O: Great beer to substitute for BMC products. Good for mowing, picnics, and easy-drinking.
