The Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie Sour is second in the Smoothie Progression. This decadent sour is brewed with fresh blueberries and lactose giving it a creamy mouthfeel with a hint of graham cracker crust just like your mama used to make. I like Lime Beers. This satisfies my tart/sour need. This beer has the blueberry flavor without the sweetness that's implied by the "cheesecake" extension. I recommend this beer for those with similar tastes.

12oz can. Poured out a semi-opaque, purplish color with with a small, pinkish head of foam. It smelled of blueberry and tart lemon. Nice tart flavor with lemon and some sweet blueberry.

Poured from 12 oz can
A: Hazy ruby red with a purple tint. Fairly large 2-3 finger pink grapefruit head with lasting retention and light lacing.
S: Blueberries, sour cherries, and grapefruit. Hints of lactose which may be the cheesecake slant.
T: Tart fruit with blueberry and cherry mixed with a creamy element that does read like cheesecake.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish is lightly tart with subtle sweetness.
O: Very nice sour especially for those just getting into the style. Very approachable and enjoyable on a hot summer day.
