Neat Stranger Things reference, canned 4/04/18
pours a nice fizzy foamy 1.5 finger head that fades at a med pace, a little foamy lacing, very hazy straw pear color
Nose is pretty nice, a good rustic earthy farmhouse saison, toasted grains and straw, mild peppery and spice phenols, some nice fruity esters with that, lemon zest, also nice hops, good grassy floral, lemongrass, good generic fruity
Taste brings more of the same, toasted straw malts, biscuity grainy malts with nice saison flavors, earthy rustic farmhouse saison, lemon zest and plenty of it, peppery phenols with touches of spice, and a bit floral potpourri as well, mild fruity esters, apple pear notes with the lemon, nice lemon drop style hops, lemon oils, zest, generic citrus, floral and grassy too with a bit of an earthy bitter undertone, tons of lemon zest and bitterness on the back end, with a drier finish, effervescent and lingering saison and lemon zest mostly
Mouth is med to a touch lighter bod, nice effervescent bubbly carbonation
Overall a nice beer, good saison base and nice blend with the hops, enjoyable especially for a hot summer day
