Canned 5/20/19
Pours a big fizzy frothy 1 finger head with great retention, soapy lacing, very hazy cloudy reddish auburn color
Nose is unique, a strange musty dank aroma maybe hop related, fruity with plenty of cherry and plum, general reddish juicy fruit, light sweet malt and syrupy, phenol spices possibly relating to the musty dank aroma,
Taste big fruit, cherry and plum again, raw juicy plum and a little tart funky note, dank notes could be hops or yeast, mild sweet malt and possibly candi sugar, toasted caramel malts, fairly sweet but light, mild phenol potpourri like spices, date/plum juice, sticky mild sweet finish, lingering fruits and candy like
Mouth is med bod, high effervescent carb, little sticky sweet
Overall eh, it's not bad just doesn't really come through as a good beer
