Can date is cutoff a but, but looks like 8/20/20
Pours a med-smaller fizzy head, not the large foamy rocky head I hoped for a Belgian, lower retention, fair hazy lemon yellow color
Nose brings more saison like characters, a bit grainy and cracker, soft pillowy sweet Belgian golden malt, fair citrus notes with lemon zest, lemongrass, fair phenol floral spices,
Taste more Belgian blond malts with grainy cracker notes, fair sweetness with a little candy like character, floral hop notes with fruity yeast-derived esters, lemon zest, a little pear, quite floral with Dandelion character and other floral phenol spices, a bit of bitterness, and mild honey as well, bone dry finish with more floral flowery phenol notes and lemon zest
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med to a bit higher fizzy slight effervescent carb
Overall pretty nice saison style, good esters and phenols, good base malt, dry finish good table beer

It's a table beer- can more be done to make the beer more flavorful?
4% does not preclude a better taste profile.
Nice looking- 3F head, light cloudy lemon color in a Stone Imperial pint glass.
Moderate fruity-Belgian beer aroma. Nothing distinctive- same with the taste.
Mild MF.
A bit more can be done to improve this beer.
Mystic also has a table beer. It's a Belgian, classified as a Saison. Interesting hop profile.
It's excellent at 4.3%. So a table beer can have an excellent taste profile.
Lamplighter is an excellent brewery, but occasionally some of their beers don't meet their usual standard of excellence.

Straw color and nearly clear. Served in a large brandy snifter. Good bar-poured head. A few streaks and spots for lace.
Predominantly Belgian yeast and pale malt nose. Light hop.
The taste is similar to the smell with plenty of malt, distinctive Belgian yeast and light hop. Highly carbonated as the style dictates. Very thin. The hop bitterness shows up in the aftertaste bringing some balance to the beer.
