Drinking this at Bond Brothers in Beautiful downtown Cary NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks light amber with an off-white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells almond, pears, apricot, banana, yeasty.
Taste follows the nose nicely, with quite a bit of pepper on the back of the palate.
Mouth feel, effervescent, overly carbonated for the style, calms down and improves halfway through.
Overall a very nice Saison that I would definitely order again.

A: Pours a lightly hazy medium golden yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate copper + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of spicy saison yeast over the top of light to moderate aromas of pale + biscuit + wheat malts with a minimal amount of sweetness. Light aromas of floral + spicy + citrus/lemon zest hops.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of pale + biscuit + wheat malts with a minimal amount of sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of spicy saison yeast. Finally there is a very light flavor of floral + spicy + citrus/lemon zest hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving lingering spicy saison yeast flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant dry finish to the mouthfeel. Very enjoyable with some classic saison flavors and just a light presence of hops from the dry hopping.
