This one pours a light golden yellowish color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite hoppy, with peppery, spicy hops, and some sharp clovey yeast aromas, too.
This is quite funky, but that’s also tempered by the heavy duty grassy and spicy hop character – it feels like noble hops, but dialed up heavy. It’s quite bitter, but in a refreshing way. There’s dry yeastiness to this, lemongrass and clove, with definite tasty Brett characteristics. I imagine with time the hop character will fade and this will get even funkier.
This is light bodied but soft, and quite drinkable.
I love that we have an excellent local brewery that has the ability to collaborate with notable Belgian breweries.
