12 ounce can poured into a nonic pint glass.
L: Dark ruby-copper pour, one inch tan head, creamy foam is persistent and leaves a little fine lace.
S: Big whiff of doughy dark bread at the pour, lesser strength aroma of bread and nutty malt after.
T: Toasted dark malts, nutty sweetness, mild woody bitterness on the back
F: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated, fairly smooth neutral feel.
O: Definitely want a second pour.

From a can into a pint glass.
A decent head and pretty nice lacing.
Nicely toasted malt, pleasant caramel maltiness and tea like hops profile.
A decent Irish Red

Brownish red, somewhat cloudy, thin white head, good retention, rings of lace
Caramel, dried fruit, slight toast aroma
Tastes like it smells, toastiness is more pronounced, clean, dry finish
Medium bodied and appropriately carbonated, very drinkable
Brookeville is killing it with the beers I'd drink the crap out of in a pub for a few hours and end up way drunker than expected.

16oz can (Drink Fresh - J122054) poured - in two stages -into a pint glass resulting in a ridiculous cream-coloured head over a cloudy red body. Faint malt aroma. More caramel malt on the tongue. Smooth feel with slightly higher carbonation in a medium-bodied ale. I've had a few of this style before (Smithwick immediately comes to mind), but w/o rating them - this is a good one.

Poured from the can into a nonik pint glass.
Muted copper, hinting towards more of a murky chestnut brown, with some lighter color along the body's edges. Head creation is fairly minimal, about a little more than a finger of light khaki head, that dissolves to a thin collar and puck.
Good solid aroma. Light almost crispy caramel aroma, with limited sweetness on the nose. Faint touches of nut, with that light almost fruity quality of Irish ale deliciousness. Minimal sensing hop presence as well.
Palate goes for basics. Good malt depth and backbone, touches a little just big in carbonation, but not too jarring on the palate. Sweet malts of light caramel, with a hint of hop and fizz popping earthy quality. There's a hint of biscuity note on the aftertaste, but also some more of that mineral water carbonation as well. Tea like faint hop aromas seem to come out as well mixing with only a touch of classic malt sweetness.
Pretty simple , but a good Irish ale.
