Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Pale brass yellow, with a touch of slight haze. Thick full three finger head height, and a big collar like lace as the beer settles. Nicely capped but a little frozen and murky in the mix.
Assuming this is a single hop only addition, it's a neat profile. Nice airy aroma of earth and soft almost passion fruit like flavors on the hop nose. Hints a little earth and pine. Fairly basic but good.
Palate sticks to basics. Chewy hints of wheat like flavors, with a mix of simple backbone. Tangy hop profile, hints a little less fruity than the nose, and more of a sharp grass and sage like herbs. Finishes with soft bitterness, almost like a pils sensing quality as well which is interesting. Real delicious spicy mix in the aftertaste that lingers.
Neat pale ale.
