Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Creamy rich filled, thin bubbled with a light white color, big retention and head creation forming a giant island crown and thick reaching three to four finger tall head. Opaque and slightly hazed appearance with a lead towards darker orange the yellow body color. Some carbonation is able to be seen.
Banging solid aroma. Whispy notes of dank and sweet, with a push towards warm pineapple and other tropical like fruits. Good dank notes that hit of a much more bolder beer possibly coming.
Palate brings down things a little more simply, but not without expectations. Light body definitely flirting with session and watery edge, but flavors manage to keep bold and present. Nice touches of some more mint and pine bitterness on first sip, following with sweet tropical notes later. Finishes a little light but that's expected, with a touch of malt sweetness.
Surprisingly if this was a standard high abv NEIPA instead of aiming for a lower session like abv this could be a pretty exceptional brew from this brewery.

Appearance straight out of the hazy IPA handbook; cloudy, fairly large off white head, good lacing. Aroma also follows the script with tropical fruit and citrus in the forefront. Well balanced flavor. The fruit isn't too overpowering, the malt stands steady and the bitterness is modest. Nice light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel as well. Overall, a good session beer.
