Saaz hop's balance this traditional czech TMAve pils, dark in color but rich with toasted bread crust notes, lending to a crisp dry finish.

16 oz draft pour at The Hideaway (Odenton, MD). Pours dark brown with a small but long-lasting creamy tan head. Aroma and flavor offer rich bready/toasted malt, pumpernickel, hints of coffee, caramel, and chocolate, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. This is exactly what I love in a dark lager: complex, flavorful, full-bodied, easy to drink. Great stuff.

Incredible beer. Malty without being sweet or heavy. Nicely balanced winter pour.
