The aroma on this sample is way sweeter with very little funk, especially of the nasty kind; still some barnyard, but way, way subdued. The taste is slightly sweeter and not metallic; a bit more phenol and pepper notes, more fitting to the style. Still medium bodied but softer and dry at the finish with just the barest trace of tanginess.
This is way better than my original bottle. Perhaps it had some sort of contamination. This bottle produced more saison-like qualities overall. It seemed earthier and more balanced.

Hazy, blood red body; heavy carbonation; one-finger thick, fizzy head. Initial smell of dung; levels off to a barnyard funk/cherry scent. Cherry cola flavor; very mild bitterness; slight metallic notes. Medium body with lots of bubbly effervescence; sweet finish.
