Pale yellow body; thick, fluffy white head; lots of yeast detritus floating around; globs of foam along the glass. Nice earthy, tomato-like aroma; grassy. Medium body; somewhat
The ingredients list fresh tomatoes, tomato paste, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and celery among its ingredients. Surprisingly, things seem to fairly blend well and exceed the sum of its parts. I wonder if this is a take of a Montana Bloody Mary beer which was (according to my wife) cheap beer and tomato sauce. She grew up in Billings, so I don't doubt her. Regardless, this beer seems to have met it's intention. It's not a beer I would gravitate towards on any regular basis, yet it has a certain, odd appeal...
