A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high light tan head that left a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has notes of chocolate malts with hints of coffee beans and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a bit of dryness in the finish.
O: This stout isn't overly complex but is nice and malty as well as being easy to drink.

From the can it pours a clear dark brown color with hints of ruby. It looks black in glass with a modest creamy head and ring of lacing.
Roasty aroma evokes notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Aromas of dark toasted malts and dark fruit contrast with notes of lemon and woodsy/earthy hops.
Flavors of bittersweet dark chocolate, dark fruit and dark toasted malt along with black malt that evoke sharp and bright notes of lemon and espresso. A roasty and firm bitterness throughout along with flavors of woodsy and earthy hops. Well balanced overall with a firm bitterness, subtly sweet creamy malts and a dry palate. The finish is very smooth, roasty and dry.
Full bodied with a silky, creamy and smooth mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate to gentle.
Fantastic stout! A real pleasure to drink as the balance is just about perfect, it is ultra smooth and quite tasty.
