Pours a semi hazy golden amber color. The head is large and foamy, retains long and yields lacing.
The nose is balanced with notes of biscuity and bready grain and fruity/floral hops. Aromas of honey, sweet and minty grass, apricot and a touch of citrus.
The taste highlights doughy, bready and biscuity malts. Lightly toasted and balanced with sweet honey like spices and a smooth grassy and earthy bitterness. Flavors of woodsy hops, grapefruit, peach and a touch of berries.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and dry with a lingering bitterness. The carbonation is moderate.
Solid Pale Ale, simply crafted and tasteful.

Poured from a can (no date, picked up at brewery yesterday) into a tumbler
L: dark orange brown, opaque, moderate white head with thick white lacing
S: spicy, piney, grassy nose. Pretty vegetal/herbal, not much fruit maybe this sharp citrus note
T: follows the nose, quite herbal and floral. Get some grapefruit, bitter and very different than a lot of beers I’ve had recently. Little bit of bread/malt toward the end. Am sure my palate is just used to creamy NEIPAs but this makes me think old high IBU beers (am sure it’s not). Medium finish
F: medium/light body, medium/high carbonation, bitter and drying
O: haven’t had a bitter, herbal pale ale in a while. Nice change of pace, beer itself is flavorful could use more depth
