Based off of a New England style IPA, we go one step further on this beer and brew it with lactose, and a balanced amount of mango and pineapple with a hint of vanilla to give it a creamy like character that plays into the juicy characters of the New England IPA.

It’s definitely fruity and sour but the flavors of the individual fruits were hard to distinguish for me. It was sweet and citrusy and that’s about all I gathered. The highlight of this beer for me was the feel. It was like drinking a perfectly blended smoothie. All the creaminess I wanted was present, it was just slightly lacking in the flavor department.

Pours a hazy, orange color. Aroma and taste of pineapple and mango very noticeable. A very sweet beer. Not a lot of bitterness even though I BUs are 55.

Just like a huge, creamy, vanilla, tropical pineapple mango smoothie! Nice dry hop bitterness finish, this is really something. Usually not a fan of this lactose IPAs but this is delicious.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy pineapple, mango, fruit skin, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pineapple, mango, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy pineapple, mango, fruit skin, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pineapple, mango, fruit skin, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, mango, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, fairly sticky/resinous/rindy, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. No warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome Milkshake NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, mango, citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; great soft feel and not aggressive. Awesome Citra, Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy/vibrant hops/fruit, with some dank/earthy notes; with a great balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example as expected.
