Brewed with lactose and 4 lbs of strawberry per barrel, this beer has creamy like character that plays into the juicy characters of the New England IPA. A very drinkable combination of fruit , vanilla, and hops.

A - Pours a murky golden orange with a one finger white head. The head fades into a thin ring leaving a decent amount of spotty lacing.
S - Aroma is strawberry, orange and vanilla.
T - The taste is strawberry, orange, grapefruit, vanilla and light piney hops.
M - Medium/light body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/27/2019. Pours very hazy medium orange/amber/light reddish color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seed, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberries, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seed, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, fruit skin/seed, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and slightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited milkshake IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, citrus/fruity/tropical hops, vanilla, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; amazingly soft/silky feel. Feels like a lot of Mosaic. Extremely juicy hops/fruit, with light dank/earthy notes; with a perfectly balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstandingly spot on style example as expected. Not overdone on fruit.

Look is dark murky orange with an amber or dark red tinge to it.
Thin fluffy white head settles quickly to a bubbly outer ring thru out.
Lace is slick and runny.
Nose is tasty, strawberries & vanilla.
Taste is muted compared to the nose but still has a load of flavor.
Up front tangy tropical hops which fade into strong sweet strawberry, followed by notes of vanilla.
Creamy and smooth body with medium carbonation.
Finishes slightly crisp and refreshing.
