Very nice fruited sour! Nose was a little worrisome, with funky/horsey/lacto aromas riding over the fruity sweet notes. Flavor, though, is exceptionally balanced with big guava and creamy peach taking over with a nice tangy and tart finish. In a world of rip-your-face sours, this one is one of the better balanced examples. Would gladly have again and again.

16 ounce prowler into tulip glass, filled on 3/24/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy pink guava, peach, apricot, fruit skin/seed/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of guava, peaches, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy pink guava, peach, apricot, fruit skin/seed/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruit/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy pink guava, peach, apricot, fruit skin/seed/pits, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, peaches, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness, and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an incredible milkshake sour. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, peaches, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Amazingly juicy/jammy fruit and balanced Lacto complexity; with an awesome lactose, and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example as expected.
