There is something I want to get off my chest... this New England style IPA features Vic Secret, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Citra hops. It pours out a murky light golden color, and follows with a super smooth delivery of citrus and tropical fruit flavors. Although you probably didn't hear about it because I went under the name of Murk Honcho...

Sleep on the Haze Bros at your own risk. Another elite NEIPA, at a significantly cheaper price point than most in and out of state offerings. Super murky with a beautiful white head and lacing, tropical, stone fruit, super juicy, smooth and creamy. Nice NZ hop dankness, earthy, nice balance. Great brew, still drinking great almost two months after canning.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/28/2019. Pours opaquely hazy golden/green color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%, or lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft and not overly aggressive. Fantastic Vic Secret, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example as expected.
