Love an IPA with a solid ABV. The beer was a nice amber color. The hop taste was crisp and did not saturate the tongue. The feel was smooth rather than syrupy, the way some IPAs taste with higher ABVs. I would like to do a taste comparison with Lagunitas Waldo’s, to decide which is my favorite beer!

Beautifully clear light amber body; lively carbonation; thick, dense and creamy, sticky white head; dense, tacky sheets of foam clad the glass. Rich malt smell, heavy sweetness with a touch of caramel; spicy, pungent hop presence. The taste plays off the smell; rich caramel and crystal malt notes; spicy hop bitterness; healthy boozy note. Heavy, sticky body with plenty of residual sugar presence; generally warm and dry between the malts and the alcohol content.
This is definitely a triple IPA, and it's done well. Rich and complex with a bold hop statement evident with every sip.

12oz can from Tavour. Bright golden pour, mild haze, two finger head. Sweet, hoppy aroma. Resiny hops flood the palate, juniper, pine, woody. Clean, crisp, sticky. A hop lovers dream.
