32 oz. crowler. Pours a clear golden with a big white head. Smells of Belgian yeast without being oppressive. Has some banana and fruity esters. Light grape juice and floral hoppiness. Honey all over the nose. Tastes of honey throughout, too. Strong Belgian yeast character that lends a little banana to the back end, but has a bitterness before the lingering fruit character. The hallertau hops give the finish a little bit of grape juice, green apple, and a general fruity finish. Medium light body, very dry. Belies its size. I really didn't expect to enjoy this, but it's good. Amid consistency issues with their hoppy beers, Civil Society delivers a well-balanced Belgian pale ale.

Pale straw with little to no head or lacing. Smell is classic Belgian yeast with banana and clove notes. Taste is the same with a nice bitter hop punch. Mouthfeel is light and bubbly. Very good Belgian Pale.
