On tap at Civil Society’s 1 Year Anniversary. Lightly hazy. Smells sweet. Citrus and garlic. Tastes hoppy up front. Again, orange and garlic. Sweet caramel malt behind it. Light bitterness. Medium heavy. Good DIPA.

I still can't believe these guys are only celebrating one year - the quality IPAs that they're cranking out have the look and taste of seasoned veterans. Here's to many more years guys!

Poured from a 16oz can into a Civil Society snifter. Poured a hazy peach color with a loosely packed white head that quickly dissipated and left a virtually non-existent ring and no lacing. Aroma is stone fruit, mango, pineapple, and apples. Absolute juice assault on the palate, with a dank hoppy garlic finish. Mouth is medium, slightly syrupy, and sweet with low carbonation and no hint of the ABV and a bitter finish. Hopefully this isn't a one time offering from CSBC. It's just a matter of time before the cats out of the bag, and this brewery puts Florida on the map of the emerging East Coast DIPA world.

My favorite of their 1st Anniversary canned offerings. Looks like a new age, slightly hazy DIPA. Peach Rings. This aroma is peach rings, pineapple, lime, white wine, grass, and slight biscuit background. The taste is just a heightened version of the aroma with a more pronounced peach and malt backbone. For me this is exactly what I want. So damn good! Medium bodied but noticeable bitterness that is nowhere overdone. Evan, Karl, and Chris along with Kyle and Lindsay are now people I call friends and are currently in the right direction. So good! Thanks for the hospitality at the Anniversary party!!
