Aggressive pour from a 750ml bottle into a CSBC snifter produced a thick black body with a pillowy mocha head that slowly receded and left thick sugary lacing. Aroma is dark fruits, roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Very similar to Founder's Imperial Stout on the nose with maybe a touch more sugar notes which I'm guessing is from the maple syrup. Flavor is sweet maple syrup followed by bittersweet chocolate and coffee with a lingering dark fruit taste. Mouthfeel is very fluffy and syrupy at the same time with a sticky bitterness. Overall a wonderful imperial stout that was a bit overpriced at $25, and a bit over-sized in a 750ml bottle. Definitely would purchase again at a cheaper price point in a smaller format.

Pretty solid here. Love the coffee and slight maple on the nose. Nice body on this one Pretty creamy. I could go for a little more maple. Surprisingly crushable.

On tap at the brewery. Black body with a thin collar. Smells of coffee, milk chocolate, and a little maple. Tastes of maple sweetness and coffee. Some chocolate behind it. More coffee in the back end with a lingering maple sweetness. Very sweet, though not all that heavy. Pretty tasty, despite being all sugar.
