32 oz Crowler filled at the brewery 2 days ago
Pour heavily hazed dull pineapple, moderate light tan cap and leaving just a strand or two of lacing.
Ripe pineapple nose, with a chive backnote
Yeasty, juicy, tropical fruity and dangerously drinkable. Quality NE inspired DIPA in Florida...would not have believed this to be possible just a few short years ago...

12oz snifter pour at the brewery. Hazy deep straw color with a ring of rocky off-white head that left spotty lacing. Aroma is faint earthy hops, straw, and faint citrus. Flavor is fairly muted for a DIPA. Rather non-descript hop and grass flavors with pithy citrus finish. Certainly not what I anticipated considering the large variety of hops that went into this one. Mouthfeel is medium and dry with a bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately it seems the Subject beer series peaked at Seven. Maybe Twelve will kick start the series again if they go that far.

8% DIPA with Columbus, Mosaic, Summer, Kohatu, Wai’iti, and Nelson Sauvin.
On tap at the brewery. Hazy deep orange. Smells of citrus, resin, toasty malt, and something else I can’t pinpoint. Tastes of citrus up front. Low sweetness. Alcohol presence. Toasted malt and kind of a spicy flavor. I was put off at first, but not so much anymore. Tingly carbonation and medium bodied. Very strange. Still not sure what to think about it.
