On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden body. Smells of guava and yeast. Like a Belgian yeast giving plastic aromas. Tastes of citrus and some sort of fruit twang. Like passion fruit. Yeast takes over and dries it out quickly. Plastic finish that is very dry. Medium body. It's certainly an interesting idea, but it doesn't pan out. Too many strange flavors coming from the fruit and yeast.

Sampled this first on draft in a 12 oz Snifter then again from a fresh can in a shaker. This is the first Brut IPA I've ever had so its hard for me to compare it to anything else. The main difference I notice in this is its strong carbonation and very dry finish. Civil Society Brewing brought certainly unique taste to their New England style IPAs, this Brut IPA is no exception to their Juicy IPAs, extremely juicy smooth and delicious. The main flavor I get is a very dry champagne mimosa. This was more than just another very juicy and hazy IPA, the champagne characteristics made for a unique take on their regular IPA style, but I feel like the dry finish makes this a palate wrecker
