On tap at Civil Society's 1 Year Anniversary. Hazy orange. Smells of coconut and orange hops. Tastes much the same. Coconut up front. Hops cut it, but it comes back in the finish. Creamy coconut. Interesting, but I’m not sure it works together to improve the base beer.

On tap at EBF in Boston, MA.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden burnt orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This has a nice resinous piney nose to it, with lemon zest and orange/mango hop flavors as well, and a touch of coconut on the back end.
This works so well. At its base, it's really solid IPA, with big juicy flavors and a nice healthy bitterness on the back end. The coconut is a more subtle touch, adding a nice earthy and toasty sweetness on the back end of the beer. This is really well done.
This is medium bodied, and really crisp, with a great level of drinkability.
This is really well done. There's enough coconut to make a difference, but not so much that the great beer underneath is unrecognizable.

Wow, what an amazing treatment. The best coconut ipa I've tried. Fresh is the perfect base for this treatment I believe. Everything I enjoy about fresh (the clean crisp notes) doesn't get overpowered by the waves of coconut.
