Enjoyed on tap at Armsby Abbey today.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark black hue with a thick mocha head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a thick blanket.
S - Aromas of big hazelnut aroma huge and nutty. Nice coffee notes and sweeter lactose milk stout. Super balanced and aromatic without being cloy.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of hazelnut flavour. Almost hazelnut creamer like as far as nutty notes. Nice lighter coffee, flashes of milk chocolate and lactose. Real nice.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, creamy, smooth.
O - Overall this was a really really nice milk stout with great nutty hazelnut and flashes of mocha. Just super balanced.
