16oz can, super fresh

Classic juicy DIPA from Civil Society. As soon as you pop the can, it fills the room. Orange juice, pineapple. The hop profile is really nice. Easy drinker despite the abv, and you don't get that typical heavy DIPA feel. Nice and clean hop bill that produces this light-bodied dipa.

Great beer with an excellent hop profile. The Mosaic Cyro hops help to create. Very moderate astringency. Great MF- very smooth. Pear, peach, melon- very smooth flavor balance. Worth checking out.

Pours a Dirty Golden Straw, Citrus aroma with a splash of Pine. Taste comes on strong with a Pineapple & Slight Pine then dissipates perfectly leaving a light mouth feel. This goes down very very easy and is not one to over fatigue the palette with too much lingering hoppiness.

Thankful this was brewed and canned again in August 2020.

Solid but slightly flawed NE style DIPA. Flavors of overripe pineapple, sweet citrus, and only mild bitterness. Super tasty on the front side. My only issue with this is the chalky mouthfeel and finish. It shows up on the swallow and washes away most everything that preceded it. Doesn't completely overwhelm but it is noticeable. That's my one qualm with the NEIPA style; when done well, it is fantastic, but the less dialed in versions that have the powdery, chalky mouthfeel, the finish detracts from the appealing aspects of the style.

Overall a solid beer but I would not pay $5/can again for this brew.
