Holy Froth Batman! Pours deep golden in color with a thick frothy head that slowly fades leaving a thick coating along glass. Nose is full of citrus scents. Taste is heavy on the citrus, mango, peppery flavors. Very good beer.

Strong, sturdy, fruity and spicy, Civil Society's hazy IPA is simply a burst of light for the tastebuds.
Pouring a deep and matte gold, Light Burst actually diffuse light with its opaque haze. But the scent is bright with citronella and citrus fruit with a floral, fruity and herbal fragrance that captures the nose immediately. Sweeter with its first palate impressions, a richer, breadier and cereal maltiness creates a sensation of toasted shortcake, honey and pulp-like juiciness to start.
But the hops gain control of the middle palate with a tantalizing taste of tangerine. Leading with that strong orange array, hints of grapefruit and passionfruit add a bite and a succulent tanginess to nudge the flavors into the citronella and tropical worlds of flavor. Remaining moderately sweet and sturdy, the late taste invites a peppery bitterness that balances the sweetness and the fruit with notions of grassiness, spruce, hemp and lemon pepper.
Soothing with hints of vanilla and coconut, a candied fruit flavor rides high even as the ale finishes malty-dry and with a spicy gin-like bite. A medium-long linger of fruit peels, hemp and alcohol spice adds a nuanced dryness to facilitate drinkability and refreshment in its final impressions.

NO can date.
Pours a large frothy 1.5 finger head with moderate retention, light spotty lacing, very hazy cloudy pale orange color
Nose brings citrus and pine, some tangerine, orange cream notes, starting to get a little dank and resinous, some creamy doughy malt, pith
Taste brings sweet malts with a little candy note, grainy cracker as well, and into pith, lots of citrus again with tangerine and orange creamscicle, candied orange, flaked oats and suspended proteins, a little fruity orange cereal, then some dank resin and a bit of pine in the background, med-light bitterness, with some warming alcohol kicking in, getting a touch tingly late, semi sweet sticky finish, lingering orange rind and a bit of resinous pine
Mouth is med to fuller bod, a bit creamy juicy, some warming alcohol maybe a touch too much for less than 8%, med-higher frothy foamy carb
Overall not bad, def more NEIPA style, with great carb and creamy feel, nice citrus, a bit of pine and resin bring it back to AMerican IPA but lacks the bitterness for that, but still a solid beer
