Packaged in a tall, 16 ounce can, sadly w/o any canning date of other freshness info being provided.
Typical quality NEIPA look to the pour, hazed, under a lasting moderate off white cap and leaving ample ringed lacing and scattered fields of extensive sheeting.
Mild nose of moderate tropical fruits.
Things pick up as this one flows through the mouth and over the palate...ripe pineapple, some mango, kiwi and stone fruits all coming to mind...yeast infused final pour, adds a nutty and earthy note....tasty and intriguing...well worth trying this offering from one of the South's best breweries.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish / orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of citrus fruit, hops, yeast, tropical fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a decent bit of the advertised yeast (a subtle backbone), a nice amount of tropical fruit (mango, in particular), light malt notes (mostly in the finish; not a big factor), some hops (less than expected, but still present), and a lot of citrus fruit (orange, especially). This is a well-rounded, balanced flavor. Pretty tasty,
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well made, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a look.

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass and small specks of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of kumquat are present in the nose along with notes of lime and mango.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the kumquat flavors aren't nearly as pronounced compared to the smell. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The aromas and flavors in this IPA are rather complex.

Really nice DIPA. Just a hint of dankness, a little lemon/citrus, mild bitterness. Lots of creamy head. Enjoyed this much.
