Triple IPA brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and hit in the whirlpool with Citra. Then we dry hopped with loads of Citra, Mosaic, Strata, Kohatu and Citra Cryo.

Pours a deep gold-orange color, opaque with a 2 finger silky/frothy head that settles to a nice film. This is actually a gorgeous looking beer. The aroma is very fresh with some citrus and other sweet fruit hop notes. The flavor robust, popping out with fresh fruit hop notes. I get some tangerine, cantaloupe and some hints of stone fruit in the finish - maybe peach or apricot. The flavors persist well and this a delightful taste all around. Feel is very soft and creamy. There is a moderate bitterness that kicks in around the mid taste but fades away in the finish. I think this rounds off the beer well so it is not just all sweetness. So, this is a TIPA at 10.5% and I would have never known it as there is no burn. Bravo!
This is a damn good beer. Thanks to my buddy Dave for bringing it up from FL. He's right that the NEIPA technique is strong down there. Will have to see for myself some time soon.

Pours a dense golden sunset color with a big white head and lacing. Smell is fruity dank and tropical. Taste has citrus, melon papaya, stone fruits, pineapple mix in some herbal mint and sandalwood. Mouth is sweet and tropical more than dry ABV well hidden at 10.5% this just slid down. Very good.

Stepping up the "double" IPA, Civil Society's "triple" IPA is anything but Civil. Laced with the flavors of Citra, Mosaic, Strata, and Kohatu hops, a ruckus for the tastebuds is about to happen.
With an opaque orange color, not only does Sunshine State of Mind look like a frothy orange juice at the onset of the pour but its scent is nearly spot on as well. With a hint of herb, tropical fruit and orchard fruit, the rounded hop scent is preceded by a creamy, pastry-like taste of cereal, poundcake and honey.
With that strong grain character, the hops are patient as they slowly over take the cereal and sweetness. Blossoming with orange, red grapefruit and lemon, a citrusy zing offers a glimpse of hop acidity ahead of a more tropical accompaniment of mango, passionfruit, pineapple and papaya. With a hint of peach, the fruit flavors are nearly complete. A trend toward an herbal bitterness yields a smooth, grassy, hemp-like and tea-like bite to offset a portion of sweetness.
Full bodied and carrying a light curacao liquor spice, the Triple IPA finishes on the breadier side of malty-dry and with a strong linger of fruit sweetness. A warming and peppery spice seems slightly vodka-like with the suggestion of gin botanicals and a lasting impression of cannabis.

I typically find triples to be too sweet but this one is fantastic. Picked up from from the brewery and really loved it. Could have a couple of these before realizing its 10.5%!
