Unfortunately this beer is less than the sum of its parts. It’s pretty good, has vanilla and coconut and some mild bourbon barrel notes. But it’s too sweet and has a flat flavor profile.

On tap at Civil Society Jupiter. Black with no head. Smells of coconut, bourbon, caramel, and spicy oak. Tastes sweet, boozy, coconut, something like nutmeg, though that's the adjunct in Strange Tides, which is odd. Some rich dark chocolate in the finish with a lingering bourbon flavor. Heavy. Couldn't drink much, but I like that mysterious nutmeg flavor in this beer, despite not loving it in Strange Tides.
