Here at Olde Mother we love our festivities. To celebrate bier, good times, and the coming of fall we have produced a marzen style lager with a smooth, complex malt flavor profile accompanied by a slight bitterness for easy drinkability. PROST!

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 9/15/20
Slightly hazy golden orange with over one finger of fizzy, near-white foam that disappears like the head on a soda. It is lively with lots of tiny rising bubbles. The nose is fairly strong, spicy and fruity hops with sour dough. Mildly sweet front to back with very low bitterness. The flavor is a touch sour and tastes much like the nose projects with a spicy/herbal finish. The carbonation is medium-high giving an overlying crispness to a soft and creamy, medium weight body. This isn’t a bad beer but to me not much about it reads fest beer/marzen. If I was to drink this not knowing what it was I may mistake it for a cream ale.
