Brewed with toasted coconut, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and lactose. Tastes like a mounds beer dipped in espresso.

On tap at Noble Shepherd Craft Brewery in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small white head, and not much lacing.
This smells like toasted coconut, lactose, vanilla, dark chocolate, smoke, and roast.
This packs a lot of flavor in for a lower ABV package. It's not a coconut bomb by any means, but it's definitely there. There's some dark coffee like flavors, with a creamy but not too sweet vanilla flavor. There's a little bit of lactose, but it doesn't affect the flavor a whole lot. There's a bitter finish that helps balance things out.
This is medium bodied, and pretty creamy, with a great drinkabiity.
I love big and high ABV pastry stouts, but it's also nice to see the "style" done well in a smaller package.
