A translucent haze of yellow gold (SRM 4-5) fills a PBGC Dimpled Mug "Sparkles". Meanwhile, a one-inch, fluffy white head retreats to form a thick ring and patchy lace.

The aroma starts off with a fair mix of grapefruit and pine needles. Unfortunately, a catty aroma comes our as well. Sweetness and grapefruit pith build with warmth.

The flavor follows the nose, though blessedly without the cattiness. Pineapple is added as the initial sweetness transitions to bitterness. Neither sweet nor bitter are particularly strong at any point. The finish is filled with grapefruit pith and brings out moderate bitterness. Overall, the finish is a brief punch that quickly diminishes to a faint memory.

A medium to light body and soft cashmere texture. Fine, light carbonation. Alcohol is well below expectation, though still present.

This is a nice, fruity, citrus NEIPA. One could easily enjoy it while watching baseball with friends, or during casual conversation. This seems to be more well suited to summer than to cooler weather.
