This is a Russian Imperial Stout aged in two different bourbon barrels with vanilla beans then we blended and bottled it. One was a bourbon barrel from Krooked Tusker Distillery and the other was a bourbon barrel from Black Button Distilling that was then used by Kettle Ridge to age their maple syrup in and then we got it. The finished product is wonderful and will defintely warm you up on a cold night.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells primarily like roasted malt, and dark chocolate, with a touch of oak but not much barrel, vanilla, or maple.
This is definitely fairly old fashioned, and not at all a pastry stout. This is typicall just fine with me, but there's just enough coming from the barrel - it's all just a bit light. There's very little maple or bourbon, and just mainly roast, smoke, and chocolate, with a brief hint of oak.
This is kind of thin, and not creamy enough. It's not too boozy or anything like that.
I usually like Noble Shepherd a lot, but I wanted more out of this one.
