On tap at Noble Shepherd Craft Brewery in Bristol, NY.
This one pours a light pinkish-orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like strawberry cream, lemon, and pineapple.
This is basic, and tastes pretty much exactly like what you'd expect for the style. The strawberry seems to lead the way in the fruit category, and adds a nice creamy sweetness on top of the mild lemony and pineapple sourness.
It's not as thick as some of the more extreme examples of the style, and that works in its favor. It's quite drinkable.
These sorts of fruited sours aren't exactly my #1 style, but Noble Shepherd does the style well in my eyes, as they are not as intense, heavy, and unbeer-like as some of the more "famous" fruited sours these days.
