On tap at Noble Shepherd Brewing in Bloomfield, NY.

This one pours a dark golden brown color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like rich sweet breadiness, spicing, dark fruit, and caramel.

This is impressive, especially from a brewery that’s mostly known for their IPAs. It doesn’t touch something actually from Belgium, but it could definitely stand up to American quads, I would think. It’s richly malty and full flavored, with a nice yeasty spice character that helps lasso in the maltiness.

This is medium bodied, rich, and quite drinkable, with a dry finish and very little boozy character.

I was really happy with how this one came out.
