On tap at Noble Shepherd Brewing in Bristol, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear dull light yellow, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like white grape juice, straw and grassy hops, and a touch of honey.
I like the idea here, and it’s mostly executed pretty well. I’d want a bit more heft to the pilsner base to stand up to the grape infusion here, but it’s still done pretty well, delicately so. There’s a touch of citrusy hop character, honey, and a light hay-like bitterness.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable. I’d want maybe a bit more carbonation.
I like the inventiveness here – a few more batches of this, and maybe it could get even further dialed in.
