Can purchased at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, milk chocolate, bright roasty coffee, and a bit of bittersweet maple.
This packs a lot of flavor into a pretty small package. The maple adds a nice sweetness, but not as overwhelmingly so as maple in stouts can sometimes be. The coffee plays up the roastiness and chocolate while adding a nice vibrant feel to the whole thing.
This finishes very milk chocolatey and creamy, with a smooth medium bodied feel to it.
This was absolutely a success, and maybe the best stout that these guys have produced so far.
