Olhão 20/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Jumbo Supermarket. Yellow label with drawing of a house engulfed in clouds.
Pouring hazy golden yellow with a white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity and lemonadelike. Sweet fruit like pear and peach intermingling with more tart fruit like gooseberry.
Medium strong carbonation and a slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a nice tart aftertaste with dry hints of grapefruit. Lingering sourness.
Nice Bowl of fruit.

This is a very respectable Saison. Some citrus but more earthy yeast flavors. Slightly more hop bitterness than expected but not enough to be distracting. Overall an enjoyable drink.
