Canada. Does not seem as rich as Banquet. Was sipping from a can whilst viewing National Lampoon's Vacation. Cousin Eddie - Randy Quaid - had the same can of Coors Original in hand as he was barraged by Clarke Griswald - Chevy Chase. I felt such an affinity with Cousin Eddie that I am a fan of it for life, no matter of the product's colour, smell, IPA rating or god forbid mouth-feel.

Contrary to what others have said, this beer does not replace Coors Banquet. It uses a similar recipe but tastes different, and inferior in flavor. It is a deceptive move by Molsoncoors to exploit the Coors Banquet (made only in Golden, Colorado) reputation. Supposedly it sits on the Canadian palette better. It is brewed only in Canada. Coors once used the term "the original America's beer" in its advertising, but Coors Banquet is NOT Coors Original.

Coors Original, use to be Coors banquet
Look at it's says its a Golden colour.
Smell: is really light but powerful. Its smooth and corny. The carbonation is really good but you have no head. Just the right amount of bubble.
Taste: Smooth, some sweetness. corn.
Feel: Light body, medium carbonation, easy drinking
So overall would recommend it ?? Yes.
Would I buy it again ? Sure on rare occasion

looks like a crisp lager in the glass. poured with no head. has a feint smell of apples and malt. tastes crisp but not the same as its Coors banquet fore-father. I am getting hints of corn. with an ever so slight fruitiness. sort of your run of the mill Canadian lager, just lightened up. tastes lighter that Coors banquet. Feels crisp and clean, goes down like water. which I love in my beers! some hate it some love it! overall this is an amazing beer and i truly enjoy it. although its not the same as the banquet we all had first as Coors full strength lager. this is a good beer. Again in the style I am giving it a high rating.

I bought a can at the lcbo in Ontario.
poured a 1finger head into glass this beer is totally different from the original Coors Banquet beer From Colorado
overall an ok beer it is drinkable but its not the same to be honest I think many Canadians are upset that they dont sell the original coors banquet here. I remember just before they stopped shipping it from Colorado they had these cool stumby bottles .
coors original is not the same beer its different.
cheers.
