Pours a pale hazy yellow colour. Slightly skunky and spicy smell, but it’s supposed to be like that. The taste adds spicy notes like cayenne, cilantro etc. Very tart and bitter.

500 mL bottle from the LCBO; best before Mar 12 2019 and served well chilled. Reviewed on my phone.

Pours a hazy, translucent lemon drop yellow, fitted with a half-inch cap of bright, white-coloured head that vanishes within two minutes' time. Doesn't leave much in the way of lacing behind, though a soapy collar remains. The aroma is subtle but pleasant, consisting of clean, grainy wheat and citrusy orange peel accented by hints of tisane, coriander, lemon, and floral hops.

A fine little witbier. The wheat malts give it a lightly crackery, grainy sort of sweetness, while notes of orange peel and lemon zest impart a weakly acidic kick. Towards the finish, notes of coriander, herbal tea and flowers precede a yeasty aftertaste; citrus zest and faint peppery spice linger briefly before fading. Light-medium in body, with assertive carbonation levels that start off spritzy, but weaken considerably over the course of the glass, making for an increasingly smooth quaff.

Final Grade: 3.89, a B+. New Limburg's Wit is a tasty, thirst-quenching, light Belgian-style ale that would be a welcome addition to my glass on any hot summer's eve. I'd say they've quite nearly nailed this inherently sessionable style - the spice and citrus components are all in place, and while I wouldn't call this a mind-blowing brew, the current dearth of quality wits in this province virtually ensures that I will be buying more bottles of this over the next several weeks and months.
