on-tap served in nonic at BWD
L: cloudy yellow-orange ... very pale gold; almost 1/2-inch head of thick white foam; some cool sticking
S: light fruity grain
T: great English pale ale-like fruity start, plenty sweet with a little bread malt thrown in, followed by a big earthy hop presence ... very bitter on back end; some grain; hops become a bit floral as you go; as it warms, takes on a very nice toasted flavor ... and a light toast
F: soft ale-like, decent carbonation but has a slight cask-like feel; works very well
O: has enough English-like notes to give it a good authentic feel; the hops are almost too much, but they are the right breed, so again, the authenticity is there; one of the better American-made English ales I've tried
