Black with brown head.
Malty, kinda coffee, pungent and enticing.
Baker's chocolate more so than dark as the fruit character's not there. Passable, inoffensive.
Finish is far too clean, IMO.

Consumed on draft at brewery during soft open on December 6th, 2015.
Appearance - 99% black, 1% brown. Fine tan head disappears before long, leaving a thin crown.
Aroma is unsweetened chocolate, lightly sour coffee.
Flavor is similar to nose with the addition of roasted flavor. Low to moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is a little thicker and creamier than average.
Missing the overtness of the oatmeal character I was expecting. Perfectly okay and drinkable.
