Look: clear, dark amber, almost copper color with a tan head that eventually disappeared. Pretty still beer with little carbonation bubbling up.
Smell: super clean smell. Faint malt, a bit of herbal hop, but aroma is subdued.
Taste: definitely sweet malt is there at first sip. Some bready character too but it is very clean. Hops do a nice job of balancing with a bit of herbal bitterness. Flavor lingers into the aftertaste but it's pleasant.
Feel: medium to full body. Crisp, slightly dry finish. Carbonation is muted.
Overall: a good, smooth lager that is fresh from the brewery. It is unmistakably an Americanized take on an Octoberfest, but it's an easy drinker for the fall season.
