Appearance: Pours a mostly cloudy (15% clarity) medium yellow/orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Aromas of orange, green melon, pineapple, grape grapefruit, and some sticky berries and mango underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Flavors of orange, lemon, lime with some green melon, pineapple, and sweet berries and mango. Tropical finish. (4.00)

Feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation, finishes clean. (4.00)

Compared to Dry Fly Midge 1/26: Pours similar, stronger aromas. Less zesty passionfruit, lemon, grape zest. More pineapple, lime, green melon.

to WeldWerks Extra Extra Juicy Bits 1/26: Pours similar, similar aromas. Similar flavors. Less hot orange. More bright floral notes.

Overall: Nice balance of hops here. The Nelson and Mosaic combo is nice. Don't appreciate the Chinook much. Balanced. (Rating: 4.00)

Another typical murkster. A fully murky and turbid muddy orange color. Frooty hop, some citrus being most notable, aroma with no grain or malt. Same on the palate, with just a slight bit of bitterness. Typical thin, smooth body. Overall, an average take on the style.

Typical murky body that is pure colloidal pale orange... like milk poured into boxed orange juice. Lovely finger+ of white head that lingers and sticks to the glass like it's got separation anxiety.

Nose is soft orange and peach and pineapple and all that.

Citrus again, with some soft stone fruit. Classic hazy profile with the DH finish that almost reminds me of meaty, and I think I'm the only one. There's a little bit of hop burn as well, but actually less so as I work through the glass, which seems a little backwards to me, but that's just the way it is.

Hazy softbody. Encompassing fine needles of carbonation, like stupid cold days, or a spicy bite that settles away quickly. Nice bitter finish that lingers.

I always have a hard time assessing the murk bombs, because the style just isn't my favourite profile for IPAs. As such, this isn't my favourite IPA, but it does do the style it's going for quite well. I've tried to rate less based on personal preference in this instance, and more towards execution of intention. If you want a well executed WC hazy, I think this one hits those notes, as best as I can tell.

L: Paler translucent yellow, half-milky hue. A finger of ivory head with average retention to a thin full coverage cap and ring and a random nearby pattern of lace.

S: Plum and underripe peach. Touches of booze, pine, citrus, and pineapple.

T: Similar to the nose, more bitter and stronger pine.

F: Juicy, dry, and slightly creamy. Spot on.

O: Another awesome Structures IPA. The closest to an Anchorage IPA I’ve had from them. Quite good. Rating overall up for a between rating on taste/smell.

Pours an almost milky yellow-orange with a finger of sticky, soapy white head. This really looks more like a mimosa than a beer and the smell filling the room doesn't help an argument against that. Juicy oranges are what hit me first but there's a pretty huge sticky dankness as well as you move in for a snort, overpowers the juicy citrus and starts going into that cat pee territory.

Taste is very juicy, quite sweet, fresh orange a ruby red juice with that dankness and a little bitterness ramping up in the finish. Kind of nice, some of these types of IPAs fall a bit flat in the finish for me.

Mouthfeel is creamy and solid, full enough for the style, but not overdone on the body enhancements. Medium-low, smooooth and creamy carbonation. Really nice beer!
